What garbage... I cant wait for the new Guitar hero system...I bet the music for that game will blow Rockband away. Bullets & Guns? WEAK!!!

meh, i'd disagree. i kinda like this weeks stuff, but they must not be reading the requested DLC on the forums... who the hell said "We need an MTV2 pack" ?

Well its official rock band is gonna die if they don't add music we all are familier with. By this point everyone is gonna want the new guitar hero instead of crap for DLC.

To be fair, Harmonix has said they view Rock Band as a platform and would offer content both new and old, both well known and obscure. I'm glad they're sticking to their guns, and I actually enjoy these songs -- more than I did the SXSW pack, so far, although that could change.

We all knew this pack was coming long ago. I'm really surprised people are surprised by it.

We are not suprised, just upset that the dlc for this week is....weak. Of all the great rock songs over the last 40 plus years they give us Bang Camaro!?, Jimmy Buffet, German speaking music? These guys need to get a clue and listen to the consumers, or when the new Guitar Hero comes out they will be left behind.

i bought this game in hopes of the Who Album "Who's Next?" but ive been hearing thigns about the pixies and other crap albums coming out......i really want the who.. *drule*

i hear that Who's next isnt even gonna come out... my bro told me half of the masters on it were stolen, so if it did come out, most of it would be covers.

Besides, The Who is way too popular to make an album on Rockband.... The consumers want unknown indi bands for dlc. NOT!!!

this game is just for fun... the music is too... by them doing this they are expanding their market to the "scene" kids who didn't like the classics like the who... people just need to stop complaining about a few weeks worth of bad DLC... also... GH4 will be weak... the drums look terrible and ingeneral is a terribly rip off of RB... also look at the trend in music from GH... GH1=Good, GH2=good, GH80=ehh..., GH3=bad, GH-Aero=horrible... so congrats to all who said they'd go go GH over RB because you will be even more disappointed than with RB... also just to remind people of what the business world is like... if all the good DLC is put out early... the later DLC will suck therefore equaling less people to download which equals less money for the business... and i agree with whoever said they are sticking to their word... they put out Lynard and Judas and now the new trend is scene music which is where they are... Come on people... get with the times and get educated...

I'm happy to see Harmonix giving some coverage to bands that aren't really popular. That being said, I'm still waiting for an Offspring pack, a Chili Peppers pack (I want Under the Bridge and Give It Away), and Nirvana's Nevermind or Metallica's Black Album (also just known as Metallica). Other than that, I like the mix in music. They are trying to cover all forms of rock music. But it is impossible to please everyone.

Oh, and for everyone that wants Who's Next, Harmonix is working hard on it. They have thrown a lot of statements hinting at the album release. When they released info on the upcoming albums by the Pixies, Priest, and the Cars, they hinted and the album release, raising the question, "Who's Next? What other full albums will come in the summer/fall of 08?"

I think this is a huge hint of things to come.

personally, i think that people should just be patient and just hope for the DLC they want... I would LOVE a Offspring pack or a Muse pack, or something that's more popular than this indie label stuff, but some of this music is actually not that bad. I just want stuff thats a little bit more mainstream...

They stoped listening to consumers, but it will be slammed with crappy music we all don't like (some people will like and Thats ok) but majority is starting to get pissed off. Actually the majority Might want gh world tour instead and that will leave harmonix in the dust, unless they confirm a rock band 2 or slap on some majority favorite music. Just wait maybe another week or two after this and will get better music. I want Van Halen.

Well, there is only one place to go after this week of crappy dlc and thats up. Hell, if next weeks dlc was ABBA that would be an improvement over this weeks. Xbox must cashing in big time with the amount of money being spent to get these 3 or 4 indi songs.

Its just so damn weird that they hardly have any more "Famous" band in RB by now. u'd think they'd have Ozzy, MCR, Van Halen, The Eagles, Slipknot, or Journey by now. but no, we get this indie stuff. Im not necessarily saying this new DLC is bad, it's just dissapointing... atleast the songs are only 80msp...

I might as well buy the songs I haven't gotten yet that I liked and tHEN i'LL STOP dlc. Unless They release van Halen DLC.

Gosh! Them Terribles are the best and you know it!
